The SELECT board range is characterised by a dynamic pattern and average contrast intensity. The colour ranges from pale yellow to brown and features an intricate pattern of light and dark medullary rays of various sizes and lengths. Knot formations and light sapwood are permissible, but knots, crevices and wood damage must not appear on the wood.

Class “SELECT”
Tangential, semi-radial and radial profile varied with various natural wood grains.
The wood features a contrasting pattern, most prominently visible in medullary rings. The colour of the wood ranges from pale yellow to brown Some boards may have small formations of knots up to 3 mm in diameter. Sapwood may occur, but must not cover more than 1/4 of the board width. Light and dark medullary rays of various sizes and directions may be visible. The size of annual rings in the wood grain is not limited.
